Movie Review: Princess Bride(1987)

I saw a movie in my GLPS camp, which is "The Princess Bride" of 1987, and the director is Rob Reiner. The genre of this movie is Fantasy, Adventure and Comedy. The characters of the movie are Princess Buttercup, prince Humperdinck, Westley, Inigo Montaya, Fezzik, Vizzini, Count Rugen and Miracle Max. Princess Buttercup is a common citizen that falls in love with Westley, a farm boy. But Westley is once regarded to be dead and Buttercup engages Prince Humperdinck. Inigo Montaya is a Spanish Swordsman and is going to revenge Count Rugen, a man with six fingers that killed his father. Fezzik is a giant man with unbelievable strength. Vizzini is a smart man who is the leader of the kidnappers that kidnapped Princess Buttercup. Miracle Max is an old man that is known to have miracle powers.

The kidnappers one day kidnapps Princess Buttercup and Westley, who was thought to be dead, comes to save her. Then, the two lovers fight against a cowardly Prince and Count Rugen.
Yes, this movie is a fairy tale with Castles, forests of monsters, secret passageways, true love and sword fights.
The movie is too old-fashioned. It is not an animation, but I think an animation would be better than this. The comedy part is too short and not attractive, making it much more boring. The story is just like a common old fairy tale. My favorite character, I think is Inigo Montaya who says "My name is Inigo Montaya, You killed my father, prepare to die." The worst character is Princess Buttercup who is so useless and just kept on waiting for her true love.
I think I learned some lessons from the movie. The prince is a coward and I think that is why he didn't qualify as a leader. Because the Prince is a coward and he cannot even fight with a man that cannot even move! I think I also learned that there is vacancy after a revenge by the case of Inigo Montaya. He revenged his enemy, Count Rugen, but after killing him, he had nothing to do.

    You are on the right track but let me give you some suggestions. In the introduction you should tell the reader what the topic of your post is. The explanation about the characters belongs in a separate paragraph. The sentence: Yes, this movie is a fairy tale with Castles, forests of monsters, secret passageways, true love and sword fights, should be in the introduction.

    It is good that you included the trailer for the reader to watch. The pictures are not showing so try to upload them again (save to the desktop and then upload).

    You did a good job explaining your opinion and sharing lessons you learned from the film. You should also add a conclusion summarizing what you said in your essay.
